Kitchen Window at night. With all the discussions on Quiltart about positive and negative space, I thought I would throw in something that could invite discussion without tearing apart someones work of art. Therefore, I took a photo of my kitchen window during the day and then at night. Which is more interesting?

Memory Quilt for Mom

c6d6c0c63d3cd3ebda56dce5d556aa4a.jpgI finally finished the Memory Quilt for My Mom. It has been a long, slow road for a couple of reasons. 1. This is my first 'real' quilt; 2. I've been recovery from back surgery (and complications). I can only sit or stand for 15-20 minutes. Mostly I recline. The results are far from perfect. However, this was a labor of LOVE!
